blaseball finale episodes
Blaseball. You had to be there. I guess I sympathize with the complaints that other people have about the ending, but I'm actually mostly at peace with it. It had run its course.
There are 3 players I still think about. I wish I could write something more polished about them to wrap things up, as a final tribute and self made conclusion, but I don't have the time. The best I can do is leave a few notes here about what their endings look like in my mind.
Lou Roseheart
- I think Lou rolls out of the black hole with all her wrestler grace, lands in some field, and excitedly thinks about the new arc she'll have. Then she finds out she missed it. The end happened without her.
- The first person she wants to see is Rivers.
- They're safe now, she's happy about it, she's just... not used to being safe. It's scary that she has time to unpack stuff now.
- She tries to get rid of the feeling of being lost by winning a new belt. It doesn't work, but the title match is impressive.
- She wants to see Rivers so badly, but no one's seen her, even though the living and the dead freely float out of the halls.
- The first time Lou visits Rivers' place in Ohio, she isn't there. The second time, she is, the light is blinding, and Lou walks into the fire.
- "Please don't leave me like that again."
Dec
- What do you do after becoming semi-famous?
- She hates to admit that she kind of misses being the center of attention.
- ...I'm sorry to say that she might get pulled into T*llman's orbit again, but if you want a kinder alternative where she's moved on from all that, I can picture her in a nice relationship with Avila Guzman.
Anastasia Isarobot
- There's never been anyone happier to have their death be meaningless.
- K-Rod is so proud of her.
